Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully. Deengo Dogs ("Deengo", "Game", "Website", "Site") is owned privately by me ("I", "my") and by accessing or using this website (https://deengodogs.com) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site. If you choose to log into Deengo Dogs, you will be expected to have read these Terms and agreed to be bound by them.

Updates to these Terms

I reserve the right to change, modify or add to these Terms and the Privacy Policy at any time. If you have registered as a member and have an account at Deengo, you will be notified of any changes (with the exception of changes that are in your favor or not considered substantial ('minor changes')) to these Terms, including the Privacy Policy, and the date of these changes by getting a notification at the top of the Deengo website. If you continue to play Deengo after the date I have changed the Terms, it means you agree to them. I advise you to always check these updates. If you do not accept the Terms, you can terminate your account from your profile and all of the information associated with your account will be deleted.

Availability

Deengo Dogs reserves the right to be shut down at any time, for any length of time, without any warning. Deengo is not liable for data loss, outages, unexpected technical issues, or for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the game. The game is provided "as is" and "as available".

Age requirements

Access to this Game is granted to individuals who are 13 years old or older at the time of registration. By creating an account, you affirm that you are at least 13 years old. Anyone under 18 years old must also obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian before making any purchases on Deengo Dogs.

Conduct

Deengo Dogs is meant to be a wholesome, lighthearted game about virtual dogs, so there is a Code of Conduct to ensure this environment. If you are on Deengo's official Discord server, it has its own rules which must also be followed there.

You agree to be bound by these Game rules and you WILL:

• Only have one account on Deengo and if you at any point have more, you will immediately contact the staff and tell about it, and your extra accounts and all of the items and dogs associated with it will be deleted
• Only use your account for the sole purpose of playing Deengo and playing your own game; you are not allowed to have an account for solely helping another player
• Protect your login information and you will not share it with anyone else

You will NOT:

• Use offensive, discriminatory, inappropriate, political, blasphemous or insulting names
• Transfer the ownership of your account to anyone else for any reason
• Use Deengo artwork to earn real life money or falsely claim to have done it yourself
• Use Deengo artwork in any offensive, discriminatory, inappropriate, political, blasphemous or insulting context
• Exploit any game bugs or loopholes
• Use or try to use programs to automate gameplay (including but not limited to auto clickers or other automation programs)
• Use or try to use programs that affect anyone else's game play
• Sell accounts, money, dogs, items or anything in Deengo for real money
• Try to scam anyone: there will be repercussions

If you want to, you CAN:

• Do cross-site trading for virtual currencies at your own risk, but only if the other site's rules allow it too
• Use Deengo artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes: crediting Deengo for it is also recommended if you share the art somewhere else!
• Edit Deengo artwork for your liking as long as you follow the rules
• Use programs that enrich your gameplay as long as they only affect the user interface and nothing else
• Report any bugs or loopholes you come across
• Report any inappropriate names you come across on Deengo
• Report any scamming or scamming attempts you come across on Deengo

If you are caught breaking the rules stated above, or anything else mentioned in these Terms, I have a right to suspend or ban your account for any amount of time I see fit. Depending on the offense and the amount of your previous offenses, you might first get off with a warning, but please do not test the limits!

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Deengo Dogs collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data. In addition to these, Deengo also uses cookies to keep you logged in, and to store session and gameplay information, which are all mandatory for the whole game to work.

Information the Game collects

• Username and email address
• IP address
• Browser and device information
• Logging data for security
• Your PayPal name/email/shipping address (not stored on Deengo servers; processed by PayPal)
• Other data you may share on this Site

Why the Game collects information

• To secure accounts and prevent abuse
• To email about the game (security measures, site issues)
• To prevent any security issues or cheating
• To process potential payments you might make

What the Game DOES NOT do with the information

• It DOES NOT sell your data to anyone
• It DOES NOT share your data with advertisers
• It DOES NOT store your credit card information

If you have any questions about our privacy policy, you can contact support@deengodogs.com. You may request for a copy of the data Deengo keeps of you (account info, logging) if you want.

Purchases

Deengo Dogs permits the purchase of virtual currency ("Virtual Money") and the purchase of virtual items or services available in the game ("Virtual Goods"). The purchase of Virtual Money and Virtual Goods is limited to users who are either (a) 18 years of age or older or (b) have the consent of their parent or their legal guardian to make the purchase.

I will not issue a (partial) refund for Virtual Money / Virtual Goods that you have purchased, except as otherwise mandated by the applicable laws of your country. I will issue a refund if a Deengo product or Deengo service is faulty or if you do not gain access to the product as expected.

By purchasing Virtual Money or Virtual Goods you expressly waive your right of withdrawal for the delivery of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, provided that the performance has commenced with your explicit prior consent and you have declared that you have waived your right of withdrawal, unless the law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise. This section does not affect your statutory rights.

If your account is terminated or suspended in accordance with section Account termination of these Terms, you will lose any Virtual Money or Virtual Goods you may have and you will not be compensated for this loss or get any refunds.

Account termination

Deengo Dogs might at any time and without notice suspend, ban or restrict your account and your access to your Virtual Money and your Virtual Goods if you fail to comply with these Terms or applicable law. I reserve the right to suspend or ban any account that I feel is not complying with these Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so via the Delete account link on your Profile page. Please note that when terminating your own account, you will also lose (a) access to your Virtual Money and (b) access to your Virtual Goods and (c) the right to get any refunds due to losing Virtual Money or Virtual Goods because you yourself terminated your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Finland and any disputes about these Terms or this Game shall be settled at the District Court of Central Finland.

Miscellaneous

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, will any other parts of these Terms still remain in effect.
